Jennifer Lopez is on the comeback trail, having performed at the 2009 American Music Awards yesterday and, in the process, shaking it to the choreography of Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo, the husband and wife team that choreographs "So You Think You Can Dance." Apparently JLo is quite a fan of the choreographing couple, dubbed "Nappytabs" by the dance community. Says Tabitha, "It is an exciting thing for us and one of the things we’ve always wanted to do. You can expect to be entertained and you won’t be disappointed."

The couple has also worth with Beyonce and Missy Elliott in the past, and are known for being innovative with their hip-hop-inspired moves. Said Tabitha of JLo, "She told us she and her husband sit down and watch the show weekly. She’s putting the time in and you don’t always get that with the artist. They have such crazy schedules and sometimes their priorities are a little bit different, but she’s really involved."

Apparently, JLo is also getting plenty of support from husband Marc Anthony, as well as inspiring her 21-month-old twins Emme and Max to create their own dance moves. Said Tabitha, "Marc’s really supportive. He’s great with the kids and then he still pays enough attention to her and goes, ‘Maybe you could do a move like this or that?’ It’s adorable to watch them together." Emme and Max have apparently been inspired by mom, because Tabitha noted, "The kids are always with us at rehearsal, running around and dancing in the mirrors. As soon as the music starts playing, they are dancing around."
